Note:

  1. In case of micro units, the service charges may be reduced by 0.5% on the above-mentioned charges.
  2. In case EMD and/ or Security Deposit are arranged by NSIC 1% Additional Service Charges would be charged. The said service charges are excluding GST. The services charges shall be deducted from the payment receipt from the buying department and after deducting eh service charges balance amount may be released to the MSE/Consortia.
  3. Where the NSIC is required to participate in pre-dispatch inspection team along with the buyer department or other agency, a higher rate of service charge can be levied on case to case basis.
Validity of Consortia Agreement:
  1. Consortium agreement entered into between the Corporation and Consortiumshall be valid till officially liquidated by all members and the intimation being served on the respective branch that they (Consortium) do not want to continue as a Consortia members. However, in case of inclusion of new member/s or member/s leaving the consortia of change in Constitution of any member , fresh agreement may be obtained. In order to ascertain the change in the Constitution or addition/deletion of the members, a declaration to the effects to be taken from consortia members that their consortium is alive and there is no change.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. For Dependents of Fallen/Disabled Personnel: Wards/widows of CAPFs & AR personnel killed in action, election duty, or disabled due to service-related causes. Also includes wards of those in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
  2. For Dependents of Serving/Retired Personnel: Wards/widows of retired and serving CAPFs & AR personnel (Personnel below Officer Rank).
  3. Course Requirements: Applicants must be pursuing their first professional degree in fields like Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Veterinary, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B.SC (Nursing, Agriculture, etc.), MBA, and MCA. The course must be recognized by government regulatory bodies like AICTE, MCI, or UGC.
  4. Academic Score: Fresh applicants need a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2/Diploma/Graduation (Minimum Entry Qualification - MEQ). For renewal, applicants must pass each subsequent year with at least 50% marks.
  5. Number of Children: The scholarship is admissible for a maximum of two children per family.
  6. Marital Status: Applicants are eligible regardless of their marital status.
  7. Grace Period: A one-year grace period is allowed for renewal applications if there's a delay in submission.

Order of Preference for Fresh Applicants:

  • Category-A: Wards/Widows of CAPFs & AR personnel killed in action.
  • Category-B: Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel disabled in action.
  • Category-C: Wards/Widows of deceased CAPFs & AR personnel who died due to service causes, including election duty casualties.
  • Category-D: Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel disabled while in service due to service-related causes.
  • Category-E: Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel in receipt of Gallantry Awards.
  • Category-F: Wards of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel (PBOR).
  • Category-G: Wards of serving CAPFs & AR personnel (PBOR), subject to scholarship availability.

Note: Wards admitted in the 2nd year of technical/professional Bachelor Degree courses via lateral entry after completing Diploma are eligible. For CBSE students, marks from the best five subjects out of 500 are used for MEQ percentage calculation.

How To Apply

  1. Applications for the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme must be submitted online via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) 2.0.
  2. Visit the official NSP website at https://scholarships.gov.in/ to fill out and submit your application.
  3. Ensure all required documents are uploaded accurately during the online application process.
  4. Selected applicants will receive the scholarship amount directly into their bank accounts through the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) program.
