Details

The Prime Minister's Internship Scheme is a big opportunity for young Indians to gain real-world work experience. Launched by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, it aims to connect one crore youth with leading companies for a full year of practical training.

What Is This Scheme?

This scheme is designed to give young people a taste of professional life. For 12 months, interns get to work in top companies across India, learning about different jobs and industries. It helps bridge the gap between what you learn in school and what companies actually need. Importantly, at least half of your internship time will be spent actually doing the job, not just in training sessions.

Who Can Benefit From This Scheme?

This is for Indian youth who are looking to kickstart their careers with practical experience. If you've completed high school, ITI, polytechnic diploma, or have a graduate degree like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, or B.Pharma, and meet other conditions, you can apply.

Why This Scheme Is Important

The goal is to equip young individuals with valuable skills and exposure. By working in established companies, interns can build their resumes, understand industry demands, and improve their future job prospects. This practical exposure is crucial in today's competitive job market.

Objective

This scheme offers young Indians a 12-month paid internship in top companies, providing hands-on experience in various professional fields.
