  • The Distinguished Visiting Professor will be reimbursed air-fare in “Y-Class” or actual fares if performed by Rail or approved INAE rate if travel is performed by Road.
  • The Distinguished Visiting Professoris entitled to an honorarium of ₹ 10,000/- per lecture day.
  • For on-line sessions of DVP Programs, the Experts will be paid only Honorariums of ₹ 10,000/- per day without travelling/lodging expenses based on mutually decided timings between concerned DVPs in association with the concerned Institutes.

    For Loss of Life due to COVID-19:

    1. Claim form (duly filled and signed by the nominee/claimant).
    2. Identity proof of the Deceased (Certified copy).
    3. Identity proof of the Claimant (Certified copy).
    4. Proof of relationship between the Deceased and the Claimant (Certified copy).
    5. Laboratory Report certifying positive COVID-19 test (Original or Certified copy).
    6. Death summary from the hospital (if death occurred in hospital) (Certified copy).
    7. Death Certificate (Original).
    8. Certificate from the Healthcare Institution/ organization/ office confirming employment/engagement and deployment for COVID-19 care, potentially involving direct contact with patients. For community health workers like ASHAs, this certificate should come from the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Medical Officer.

    For Accidental Loss of Life during COVID-19 Related Duty:

    1. Claim form (duly filled and signed by the nominee/claimant).
    2. Identity proof of the Deceased (Certified copy).
    3. Identity proof of the Claimant (Certified copy).
    4. Proof of relationship between the Deceased and the Claimant (Certified copy).
    5. Death summary from the hospital (if death occurred in hospital) (Certified copy).
    6. Death Certificate (Original).
    7. Post-mortem Report (Certified copy).
    8. FIR (Certified copy).
    9. Certificate from the Healthcare Institution/ organization/ office confirming employment/engagement and that the death was accidental and occurred on account of COVID-19 related duty.
    10. Cancelled Cheque (desirable) (Original).

    Important Certificates for All Claims:

    For employees (regular, ad-hoc, contractual, daily wagers, retired, private individuals) engaged by:

    • Health care facilities of Central/ State/ UT Governments, Urban Local Bodies.
    • Autonomous/ PSU hospitals of Central/ State/ UT Government, AIIMSs, INIs, and Hospitals of Central Ministries.
      Certificate needed: Proof of employment/engagement from the Head of the Institution/ organization, certifying accidental death due to COVID-19 related duty.

    For private healthcare institutions:

    • Certificate needed: Proof of employment from the Director/ Medical Superintendent/ Head of the Institution, certifying accidental death due to COVID-19 related duty.

    For private persons engaged through an agency by Health Care Institutions/Organizations:

    • Certificate needed: Certified copy of the agency's engagement document, proof of individual engagement by the agency, and certification of accidental death due to COVID-19 related duty.

    For Community Health Workers (ASHAs and ASHA Facilitators):

    • Certificate needed: Engagement certificate from the PHC Medical Officer and a certificate from the PHC Medical Officer stating that the death was accidental and occurred due to COVID-19 related duty.

    For Volunteers drafted by authorized Government officials:

    • Certificate needed: Proof of engagement by authorized government officials and certification of accidental death due to COVID-19 related duty.
