    Does the scheme cover land that is not sown with crops?

    No, the financial assistance is only provided for the actual area where crops were sown and subsequently damaged by natural disasters. Land that is not sown with crops is not eligible.

    Who confirms the crop damage?

    The initial confirmation and recording of crop damage are done by the concerned Patwari in the P-20 form. This report is then verified by higher officials.

    What is the grant amount for land with guaranteed irrigation?

    If your farmland has assured irrigation and your crops suffer damage from a natural disaster, you are eligible for an investment grant of ₹17,000/- per hectare.
