In a unique initiative to foster a sense of national pride and unity among young students, the Tiatr Academy of Goa, under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, has launched an exciting inter-school choreographic dance competition. The goal is simple: to inspire patriotism, national integration, and communal harmony through the vibrant medium of dance. Schools across Goa are encouraged to participate and showcase their talent while celebrating these important values.
This scheme is an inter-school competition focused on choreographic dance performances. Schools are invited to form dance troupes and perform on Konkani songs that carry messages of patriotism, national unity, and harmony. It's a platform for students to express these values creatively and compete for exciting prizes.
The primary beneficiaries are students from educational institutions in Goa. Schools can field dance groups made up of students from either Standard 1st to 4th or Standard 5th to 10th. This provides a great opportunity for young talents to shine and contribute to a positive social message.
In today's fast-paced world, instilling core values like patriotism and communal harmony in youngsters is crucial. This competition offers a fun and engaging way for students to connect with these ideals. It promotes cultural expression through Konkani songs and dance, strengthening both national identity and community spirit.
