This internship program by LPAI is designed to give students and research scholars a real-world feel for managing land ports. You'll get to see firsthand how passenger movement, cross-border trade, and border management are handled. It’s a unique chance to learn about the infrastructure and policies that keep our international land borders functional and secure.
The program is especially welcoming to students from the BBIN countries: Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. LPAI is particularly interested in students who want to focus on the challenges and opportunities related to land port development in India’s Northeast region.
LPAI, a statutory body under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is responsible for developing and managing facilities at our international land borders.
