  • A consolidated amount of ₹ 75,000/- per month on pro rata basis, all-inclusive (including taxes), will be paid to every RA. There shall be an annual increase of ₹ 7,500/- subject to satisfactory performance.

    How To Apply

    Applications for operating rafting or kayaking firms, as well as for river guide licenses, need to be submitted to the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board. While applications for the River Ganga are typically accepted between July 1st and July 31st, applications for other rivers can be submitted throughout the year.

    The process involves:

    1. Submitting the application form along with all required documents and the application fee.
    2. Scrutiny of applications by the Department of Tourism.
    3. Technical Committee inspection to evaluate the applicant's capabilities and equipment.
    4. The Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board will inform applicants of the decision and reasons within 45 days of the technical inspection.
