- Waiver of Outstanding Dues:Complete waiver of surcharge amount and 50% waiver of the principal outstanding amount as of the date of implementation of the scheme.
- Benefit to Consumers:The entire surcharge and 50% of the principal amount are borne by the concerned distribution companies.
- State Government Support:The remaining 50% of the principal amount is borne by the State Government as a subsidy to the distribution companies.

- The scheme is open to Students, Startups, Innovators, Research Faculty, and Scientists.
