Details

The Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB), under the Labour Department, is running a special initiative called the 'Mobile Learning Centre' scheme. Its main goal is to ensure that children of construction workers get a good education, right at the places where their parents work.

What Is This Scheme?

Imagine a school that comes to you! That's what the Mobile Learning Centre scheme is all about. It uses buses equipped as learning centres to teach the children of construction workers. This way, they don't miss out on their studies even if their families have to move from one construction site to another.

Who Can Benefit From This Scheme?

The scheme is specifically designed for the children whose parents are registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. It's a way to support these families and ensure their kids receive education.

Why This Scheme Is Important

Construction work often means families move around a lot. This can make it tough for children to attend regular schools. The Mobile Learning Centre solves this problem by taking education to them. It helps construction workers focus on their jobs, knowing their children are getting a good education, and securing a better future for them.
