Details
Looking for a way to start your own business and become self-reliant? The Haryana government's Mukhyamantri Bhed/Bakri Palak Uthan Yojana is here to help Scheduled Caste beneficiaries achieve just that.
This initiative by the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department of Haryana is designed to boost the income and employment of Scheduled Caste families. Under this scheme, beneficiaries receive a unit of 10 female sheep or goats and one male animal (ram or buck) completely free of cost. The Haryana Livestock Development Board (HLDB) is responsible for implementing this scheme.
This scheme is specifically for unemployed individuals belonging to the Scheduled Caste community who are residents of Haryana. It aims to provide them with a sustainable source of income through sheep and goat farming.
The scheme has clear goals: to create self-employment opportunities in animal husbandry, improve the quality of sheep and goat breeds in the state, and significantly increase the income of economically weaker sections of society. It also ensures beneficiaries receive necessary veterinary care and assistance for selling their wool.
