    Who Can Apply for the Himayat Scheme?

    1. You must have passed at least Class 8th.
    2. Your age should be between 18 and 35 years.

    How long does the training under Himayat last?

    What happens after I finish my training? Is there any help provided?

    Yes, absolutely. The scheme guarantees placement support. If you complete a 3-month training and get placed, you might receive ₹12,000 over six months (₹2,000/month). For longer training programs (6 or 9 months), you could get ₹2,000 over two months (₹1,000/month). This is credited to your bank account upon submission of salary slips.

    I'm 24 and live in J&K. Am I eligible for the Himayat Scheme?

    Yes, you are eligible! As long as you are within the age group of 18 to 35 years (or up to 45 for special categories) and are a permanent resident of J&K, you can apply.

    What is the definition of a 'dropout' in this scheme?

    A trainee is considered a 'dropout' if they don't achieve at least 80% attendance. This is checked at the end of the first month, and again at the end of the second month if they haven't met the attendance criteria.
