Details
India's population is aging, and with that comes a rising demand for skilled individuals who can provide specialized care to our elders. Recognizing this need, the government has launched the PM-Special Training of Geriatric Caregivers scheme to build a strong cadre of professional caregivers.
The PM-Special Training of Geriatric Caregivers scheme, an initiative by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills to care for senior citizens. It focuses on providing professional services and improving the overall well-being of the elderly through dedicated training programs.
This scheme is designed for Indian citizens who are interested in a career in elderly care. It provides a pathway to gain valuable skills and professional certification in various roles related to geriatric care.
As more families seek professional support for their elderly members, this scheme is crucial for bridging the demand-supply gap in geriatric caregiving. It ensures that senior citizens receive high-quality, professional, and multidisciplinary care, enhancing their quality of life.
