    Eligibility Criteria

    1. You must be pursuing a full-time MBA/MCA or an equivalent 2-year degree or diploma from a recognized institute.
    2. You should hold a full-time graduate degree in engineering or a BCA degree.
    3. A strong interest and ability in computer programming and data analytics are essential.
    4. You need to have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in your graduate degree or an equivalent CGPA.
    5. Your age should not be more than 30 years as of January 1st of the year you are applying.
    6. You must be an Indian citizen.

    Note: While not mandatory, having a basic understanding of financial markets is a plus.

    What is the duration of the SEBI ITD Internship Program?

    The internship is planned for a minimum of 1 continuous year. This can be structured as either two semesters plus one summer/winter internship, or three trimesters plus one summer/winter internship.

    Can you tell me about the projects interns will work on?

    Interns get to work on various Information Technology (IT) projects at SEBI. This includes areas like Data Analytics (DA), working with regulatory business processes and reporting, and exploring FinTech solutions.

    How many students can join this internship program?

    The SEBI ITD Internship Program can accommodate up to 15 interns at a time.

    What is the time commitment expected from interns each week?

    Interns are required to dedicate at least 3 days per week to their internship at SEBI. This excludes Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the SEBI ITD Internship?

    You need to be pursuing a full-time 2-year MBA/MCA or equivalent degree/diploma, or hold a full-time graduate engineering degree or BCA. A minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) at graduation is required, along with a strong aptitude for programming and data analytics. Applicants should be Indian citizens and not more than 30 years old as of January 1st of the application year.

    Is prior knowledge of financial markets a must to apply?

    No, a basic understanding of financial markets is helpful and desirable, but it is not a mandatory requirement to apply for this internship.

    What kind of support and facilities are provided to the interns?

    Interns receive a stipend of ₹25,000 (for 3 days/week) or ₹30,000 (for 4 days/week). They are also entitled to leaves and may receive unfurnished shared accommodation if they are from outstation and it's available. Lunch is provided at the SEBI office, and a certificate of completion is awarded.
