  • The subsidy amount shall be disbursed through the financial institutions/banks only, if the unit is financed by them, towards the adjustment against the loan availed by the entrepreneurs or for the creation of additional fixed assets or for the working capital purposes.
  • In case of self-financed units, the subsidy shall be disbursed directly to the entrepreneur/unit.
  • *The financial institution shall mean and include PIPDIC or any other Government Corporation, Scheduled Banks including Co-operative Banks.

    Eligibility Criteria

    1. You must have completed your Law graduation (LLB).
    2. You must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
    3. You must be a native of Gujarat state.
    4. There is no income limit to apply for this scheme.
    5. The benefit of this scheme can be availed by an individual only once.

    • Applications must be submitted within two years of your registration with the Gujarat Bar Council.
    • Senior lawyers must have at least 10 years of active practice experience.
    • A senior lawyer can train a maximum of two junior lawyers simultaneously under this scheme.
    • Training should ideally be conducted at the district headquarters. However, training at the taluka headquarters is also permissible with necessary amendments.
    • Trainee junior advocates need to submit a monthly training certificate signed by their senior advocate.
    • At least 15% of the total beneficiaries should be from the most marginalized sub-castes within the Scheduled Castes.
