  1. Scheme for Improved Sugarcane Seed Production:A subsidy of ₹1,000/- per hectare (₹2,000/- per hectare for SC/ST farmers) is provided for established/base nurseries, and ₹500/- per hectare (₹1,000/- per hectare for SC/ST farmers) is provided for primary nurseries.
  2. Seed/Soil Treatment:A 50% subsidy is provided in all sugar mill areas for chemicals used in seed and soil treatment. Of this, 25% is contributed by the government, while the remaining 25% is shared equally by the Sugarcane Development Council and the sugar mill.
  3. Sugarcane Stalk Base (Pedi) Management Program:To protect ratoon sugarcane crops from pests and diseases, a 50% subsidy is provided in all sugar mill areas for pesticides used in pest and disease control. The subsidy comprises 25% contribution from the government, with the remaining 25% shared by the Sugarcane Development Council and the sugar mill.
