Is it mandatory for my project idea to involve hardware or software?
Yes, your project must be a hardware or software-based Product/Process Innovation.
How many student projects get funded each year?
The scheme supports a maximum of 10 innovative student projects each financial year.
What is the deadline for using the project funds?
The entire amount of financial assistance you receive must be used before March 31st of the next financial year.

Yes, the proposed innovative idea or project must be associated with either Academics, Industry, or the Government.

You need to maintain and submit copies of all bills and invoices for materials and tools purchased for building the project to the Goa State Innovation Council (GSInC).
Do I need to register my idea somewhere before applying?
Yes, it's mandatory to be registered under the Virtual Innovation Register (VIR) as a New Idea before you can apply for this scheme.
Where will the grant money be sent?
The approved financial assistance amount will be deposited directly into the bank account of your educational institute.
