  • A Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • The applicant must have made a significant and transformative contribution to the Indian steel sector. This could be through pioneering research, developing new technology, advocating for policies, leading the industry, or offering lifetime service.
  • The impact of the contribution should be clearly demonstrable within the last 10 years.
