Who Can Propose Projects Under PMJVK?

Projects can only be proposed for areas that have been officially identified and certified as Minority Concentrated Areas (MCAs). This means the area must have a minority population exceeding 25% of the total population within a 15-kilometer radius.

Before any project is recommended to the Ministry, the State Level Committee (SLC) must carefully check if it's practical and beneficial. The State Government or UT Administration must also clearly outline how the project will be maintained and operated after completion, including covering recurring costs and manpower needs.

How to Apply for PMJVK Projects

Proposal Submission: All project proposals and supporting documents must be submitted online through the official PMJVK portal. This is managed by the State/UT Minority Welfare Department.
