During his address, PM Modi commended Maharashtra's Mahayuti government for their efforts in modernising Pune's public transport. He highlighted the importance of seamless connectivity and modern infrastructure for the city's expansion.

Pune Metro and Infrastructure Development
The Prime Minister criticised the previous MVA government for not constructing even a single metro pillar during their tenure. In contrast, he praised his administration for successfully establishing an advanced metro network in Pune. This development is part of a broader vision to improve public transportation and connectivity within the city.
PM Modi also spoke about the upgrades at Solapur Airport. He mentioned that with Lord Vitthal's blessings, devotees have received a gift of affection through improved air connectivity. "Today, with the blessings of Lord Vitthal, his devotees have also received the gift of affection," he said. The airport's enhancement aims to provide direct flights to Solapur.
The Prime Minister's virtual inauguration underscores his commitment to infrastructure development despite challenges like adverse weather conditions. The projects launched are expected to significantly benefit Pune and surrounding areas by enhancing transportation and connectivity.
