Pune Crime: School Staff Records Girls' Videos In Changing Room; Arrested

Pune crime: A disturbing event has emerged from a well-known school in Pashan, where videos of female students changing clothes were secretly recorded. This led to the arrest of the school's peon, with a case filed at Chatushrungi Police Station.

The incident occurred on January 6. After a sports class, went to change in the school's kitchen room. Ushar Sarode the peon, was present and refused to leave when asked, instead, he placed his mobile camera on the board to record.

Immediate Action

The students quickly noticed the recording and deleted the video from Sarode's phone. They informed their parents about the situation, who then approached the school principal. Initially, Sarode denied any wrongdoing when questioned.

School Management's Response

Upon learning about the incident, the school management interrogated Sarode again. This time, he confessed to using his phone for recording purposes. Consequently, the school administration reported the matter to the police.

Legal Proceedings Initiated

Following the complaint, authorities promptly registered a case and arrested Sarode. Charges under Section 77 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and POCSO Act have been filed against him.
