CSIDC Chairman Rajeev Agarwal Visits Neemrana; Highlights Investment Opportunities in Chhattisgarh

The Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC), Mr. Rajeev Agarwal, visited Jaipur as part of a special outreach initiative aimed at strengthening industrial collaboration between Chhattisgarh and key industrial hubs across the country. During the visit, the CSIDC delegation met office-bearers of the Neemrana Industries Association to explore potential partnerships, inter-state industrial opportunities, and the expanding industrial landscape of Chhattisgarh.

At the meeting, Vishwesh Kumar, IFS, Managing Director of CSIDC, delivered a detailed presentation on the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30. He outlined the state's industry-focused reforms and investment incentives designed to promote ease of doing business, sustainable industrialization, and infrastructure-led growth. The presentation highlighted new incentive schemes aimed at attracting investments in sectors such as electronics, automobiles and engineering, food processing, hospitality, and logistics.

Addressing the gathering, Rajeev Agarwal emphasized Chhattisgarh's strategic location and its robust road, rail, and power infrastructure, which together offer significant advantages to investors. He reiterated CSIDC's commitment to ensuring faster approval processes, high-quality infrastructure, and a collaborative approach to facilitate seamless industrial growth.

The delegation was hosted by K. G. Kaushik, President of the Neemrana Industries Association, who welcomed the CSIDC officials and expressed strong interest in exploring areas of mutual cooperation. He noted that the Neemrana industrial region is home to diverse manufacturing and service-sector enterprises, and that Chhattisgarh's progressive policies present attractive expansion opportunities for industries seeking growth.

Agarwal further observed that Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh share similar industrial aspirations, and that collaboration between institutions such as the Neemrana Industries Association and CSIDC could yield long-term economic benefits. He invited members of the Neemrana industrial community to visit Chhattisgarh to gain firsthand insight into the state's evolving industrial ecosystem, newly developed industrial parks, and investment-ready infrastructure.

The visit concluded with a shared understanding to continue dialogue in the coming months and to develop specific models of cooperation for future engagement.

As part of the itinerary, the delegation also visited GD Foods and Ginni International in the Neemrana industrial area to understand local manufacturing practices and operational frameworks. The visit was organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).
