10,000 New Jobs In Bihar: CM Nitish Kumar Handovers Appointment Letters To Young Professionals
In a significant move to bolster the employment landscape of Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken a crucial step by distributing appointment letters to 10,000 individuals for various roles within the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to fulfill the government's commitment to enhancing job opportunities in the state. The distribution of these positions is a testament to the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, under whose guidance regular recruitment drives are being conducted across all departments to ensure steady employment growth.
These newly appointed roles are divided among 353 Special Survey Assistant Settlement Officers, 758 Special Survey Kanungos, 742 Special Survey Clerks, and 8,035 Special Survey Amins. This large-scale recruitment aims to streamline the operations within the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, significantly improving its efficiency and service delivery. It's a strategic move that aligns with the government's promise made in 2020 to generate 10 lakh jobs and an equal number of employment opportunities, thereby reinforcing its dedication to the economic development and welfare of its youth.

The Nitish government has been actively working since 2005 to address and resolve land-related disputes, which are a common cause of conflict and violence in the region, contributing to 60% of criminal cases. The strategy includes meticulous land surveying and aerial photography initiatives launched in 2013, aimed at clearly defining land ownership to minimize disputes. By resolving these issues, the government intends to foster a peaceful society, free from the strife that often arises from land disagreements.
This employment surge within the Revenue and Land Reforms Department is expected to greatly ease the resolution of survey and land-related matters, which have historically been a source of contention among the populace. With the government's ambitious goal to provide 12 lakh government jobs by 2025, this step marks a significant milestone towards achieving that target, reflecting the administration's steadfast commitment to job creation and dispute resolution.
