Operation Sankat Mochan to rescue 600 Indians from South Sudan has begun today morning. The African country has been hit by violence that has claimed hundreds of lives. Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh is leading the operation. India sent two C-17 military transport aircraft to war torn South Sudan's capital city Juba to evacuate Indians stranded there.
