Kumbh Mela begins in Nashik today, thousands to take holy dip

One of the largest religious gathering on the Earth is all set to start today. The Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Nashik and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Trimbakeshwar today morning. It was followed by poojas, hymns and traditional flag hoisting at both venues amidst tight security.
