Uttarakhand Tunnel Collapse: Rescue Operation in Final Stage, See Photos

On November 12, a tunnel under construction in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi collapsed, trapping 41 workers. Debris obstructed the passage from Silkyara to the Barkot end along a 60-meter stretch on the Silkyara side. Rescue teams are racing against time to complete the operation and free the trapped workers. The final stage of the rescue operation is underway as teams inch closer to successfully concluding the mission.
