Rajendra Prasad was a politician, lawyer, academic, and later became the first president of India. During the Indian Independence Movement, Mr. Prasad joined the Indian National Congress and became one of the prominent leaders of Bihar and Maharashtra states. On his personal front, Rajendra Prasad was born to Mahadev Sahai Srivastava and Kamleshwari Devi. His father was a scholar of Sanskrit and Persian languages.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan served as the first Vice President and second President of India. Radhakrishnan spent his journey as a writer, mostly focused on Hinduism, Vedanta, and the religion of the Spirit. He had worked in both Indian and Western philosophical contexts and drew attention on both sources in his prose. Therefore, Radhakrishnan has been hailed as a symbol of Hinduism to the West in academic circles. In 1923, his book "Indian Philosophy" was hailed as a "philosophical classic and a literary masterpiece." Moreover, he was a renowned teacher and his birthday (5th September) is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India.

Zakir Husain Khan was an Indian economist and politician and later became the third president of India. He also served as the governor of Bihar from and the second vice president of India from 1962 to 1967. Moreover, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1963. Husain was the first Indian President, who died in office due to heart attack.

Mohammad Hidayatullah was a politician, lawyer and academician. Another side, he was an eminent jurist, scholar, educationist, author and linguist as well. On the professional front, Hidayatullah was the 11th Chief Justice of India and the sixth Vice president of India. Being the Chief Justice, he had also served as the acting president of India as both the of positions president and the vice president were vacant. As Vice president of India, he again served as the acting president when president Zail Singh went to the U.S. for medical treatment.

V. V. Giri was born in Berhampur, Odisha to lawyer-political activist V. V. Jogayya Pantulu and activist Subhadramma. On his professional front, Giri was the fourth president and third vice president of India. Subesequently, he was honoured by the Government of India with the Bharat Ratna in 1975. Beside this, he was a great orator and a prolific writer as well. Giri married to Saraswati Bai in 1904 and the couple had 14 children.

Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed was an Indian lawyer and politician, who served as the 5th president of India. He was the second Muslim President of India and also the second President of India, who died in office. His father Col. Zalnur Ali Ahmed the first Assamese person to have an M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree. Another side, his mother Sahibzadi Ruqaiyya Sultan, who was a daughter of the Nawab of Loharu. Besides, he was interested in sports as well, he served as the president of the Assam Cricket Association and the Assam Football Association.

B.D Jatti was the fifth vice president and acting president of India. He served as acting president for 164 days. Jatti studied Bachelor of Arts degree from Rajaram College and a degree in law from the Sykes Law College. Jatti practiced as a lawyer in Jamkhandi before being elected to the Jamkhandi municipality in 1940. He was elected to the Jamakhandi State Legislature and became a minister and later its Chief Minister.

Neelam Sanjiva Reddy was an Indian politician, who served as the sixth president of India. Reddy began his journey with the Indian National Congress Party in the independence movement, he managed several key offices in independent India as the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He was also a Speaker for two times of the Lok Sabha and a Union Minister and later became the youngest president of India. However, Reddy was jailed for participating in the Quit India Movement. He was elected to the Madras Legislative Assembly in 1946 as a Congress party representative. In 1953, he became the deputy chief minister of Andhra State and the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 1956. He was a union cabinet minister under Prime Ministers Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi and Lok Sabha Speaker from 1967 to 1969. Subsequently, he retired from active politics but returned in 1975.

Zail Singh born as Jarnail Singh, who was the seventh president of India and the first Sikh to hold the office. He started his journey with Indian National Congress party and had held several ministerial posts in the Union Cabinet, including that of Home Minister. He also served as the Chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement. On his personal life, Zail was born in a Sikh family, which is situated in Sandhwan, Faridkot district to Kishan Singh and Mata Hind Kaur. However, he was given the 'Giani' title as he was educated and learned about Guru Granth Sahib at Shaheed Sikh Missionary College in Amritsar. Besides, his presidency was marked by Operation Blue Star, the assassination of Indira Gandhi. In 1994, Zail Singh lost his life after suffering from multiple injuries due to a car accident.
