Mumbai Rain Photos: Heavy Rainfall Paralyzes Mumbai, Authorities Issue Orange Alert
Mumbai has been hit by heavy rainfall, leading to the resumption of local train services on the Harbor Line and restricted speed on Mainline services. The city received 270mm of rain in just four hours, causing disruptions to flights and local trains, and prompting schools and colleges to close. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is monitoring the flood situation, while the IMD has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Mumbai over the next 24 hours.
