Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results: Here's How BJP & Congress Are Prepping For Victory Celebration
As vote counting started, both the BJP and Congress began celebrations at their party offices, showing confidence in winning the Lok Sabha elections. At the BJP office in Delhi, workers prepared poori and laddoos in large quantities, anticipating a BJP victory. Similarly, the Congress headquarters saw preparations of chhole bhature. Lok Sabha elections were conducted in seven phases: April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1. Simultaneously, assembly polls took place in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. India has 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. To form the government, a party or alliance needs 272 seats.
