Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Ministers, MP's & Other Prominent People Cast Their Votes In Phase Four
In the fourth phase of India’s Lok Sabha elections, held on May 13, 2024, 96 constituencies across 10 states and union territories witnessed voting. The main contenders were Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), led by Rahul Gandhi’s Indian National Congress. Notably, Bollywood veteran Shatrughan Sinha sought re-election in West Bengal’s Asansol, while actress Maadhavi Latha from the BJP contested for the Hyderabad seat in Telangana against four-time MP Asaduddin Owaisi. The voter turnout in the first three phases was lower than in 2019. Over 969 million registered voters participated in this crucial democratic exercise1. Several other prominent leaders, including Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, and Junior NTR, also cast their votes during this phase.
