Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader, was seen dancing with young people in Patna after wrapping up the Voter Adhikar Yatra. This gesture highlighted his attempt to engage with the youth amidst Bihar's intense political climate. Videos shared on X showed him enjoying music and learning dance steps from local boys while having tea with his nephew and others.

Tejashwi's Dance Moves

On a Monday night, after two weeks of intense campaigning, Tejashwi Yadav took a break to enjoy some fun moments. He was spotted dancing on Patna's 'Marine Drive' with youngsters, following the conclusion of Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Bihar. The clips showed him being taught dance moves before he joined in with laughter.

Yadav humorously remarked, "Hum Modi ji ko nachate hain (We can even make Modi dance to our tune)," which amused those around him. His sister, Rohini Acharya, also shared videos of him mingling with the youth, singing songs, and making finger hearts. She expressed her support for her brother's leadership ambitions in Bihar.

Political Context

The light-hearted interlude came after an intense end to the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra'. This campaign covered 25 districts and over 1,300 kilometres in 16 days. It aimed to highlight the Opposition's allegations against the BJP and Election Commission regarding vote theft. The final rally in Patna showcased a united front from the opposition INDIA bloc.

Prominent figures like Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut attended the rally. Left leaders Annie Raja, MA Baby, and Dipankar Bhattacharya were also present. During this event, Yadav criticised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his frequent political shifts and accused him of copying RJD's welfare promises.

Yadav stated that Kumar "may be a copycat but lacks a vision of his own." He urged voters to oust Kumar's government in the upcoming assembly elections. This statement underscored Yadav's determination to bring change under his leadership in Bihar.

The evening drive was initiated by Yadav's nephew visiting from Singapore who suggested they go out. On their way, they encountered young artists creating reels and singing songs on the road. When invited by these artists, Yadav joined them in their activities, sharing candid conversations along the roadside.
