Bihar: Student commits suicide after failing in board exam

Ara, May 28: Apparently distressed over failing in the intermediate examination, a

committed

by jumping before a running train at Ara railway junction in

's Bhojpur district, police said on Wednesday.

The intermediate student, identified as Bunti Singh (about 18), jumped before Rajdhani Express last night to end his life within hours of declaration of results of intermediate examination in which he had failed.

He was a intermediate student of science in Sasaram college and native of Ekauna village under Barhara police station area of Bhojpur district.

Singh's father Shatrughan Singh, posted in Jharkhand's Dumka district, has been informed about the incident.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.
