No talks about JDU-BJP alliance at national level: Nitish
Patna, July 9: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said his party Janata Dal (United), which is currently is in alliance with BJP in Bihar, may not forge alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) outside the state.
Talking to media person on the possibility of 'Mahagathbandhan', Nitish Kumar said, " We (JDU & BJP) are working together in Bihar but when it comes to outside Bihar there are no discussions like that. There has not been an alliance like that at the national level."
Also, he ruled out JDU's intention to form alliance with other than the saffron party. "As far as our political relations with BJP is concerned, it isn't possible to get together with some other party at some other place, leaving them behind," Nitish Kumar said.
"When you run a political party you need to keep in mind sentiments of those attached to your party, he added.
As far as One Nation One Election is concerned, he said, "We favour it on ideological ground. But there's no favourable situation for it today. Forget 2019, don't think it's possible even in 2024. Several provisions will have to be discarded. Atmosphere should be created so it can be implemented in future."
