"JDU MLC's son is not above law" says JDU spokesperson on killing of youth in Gaya

Gaya, May 8: Bihar police have arrested Janata Dal United (JDU ), MLC Manorma Devi's husband Bindi Yadav in connection with the killing of a youth in Gaya, Bihar. According to media reports, Bindi Yadav informed the police that his son has shot dead the youth during road scuffle.

Bindi Yadav also said that "During scuffle, my son took out his licensed pistol in self defense and by mistake it happened (killing of youth)."

While taking to OneIndia, JD(U) spokeperson Neeraj Kumar said that "We will take strict action against Manorma Devi's son, as anyone who will take law and order in hand will be punished strictly."

"Our local (JDU) party leader also visited the spot and assured to the victim's family for justice, as such people will not be spared by the law and proper punishment will be assured", he said.

"Whether he is a jdu leader's son or anyone, who so ever will take law and order in hand will not be protected," Kumar concluded.

Meanwhile, victim's family and friends blocked the road and protested against the government to punish the leader's son.

Ayush, a friend of a person who was shot dead said that "We tried to overtake the car. In a meanwhile, they started firing in air. Later, my friend was assaulted and then they shot my friend."
