Nitish Kumar Goofs Up, Says NDA Will Win 4000 Seats; Later Touches PM Modi’s Feet
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday was seen touching feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he made a major goof-up in his speech while addressing a BJP-JDU joint rally in Bihar's Nawada. From the stage, during his address, Nitish Kumar said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will win "more than 4,000 seats". The video of his goof-up is doing round the internet and people are mocking the Bihar Chief Minister as the total strength of the Lok Sabha is 543 then how a party or alliance can win 4000 seats which is several times more.
It looked like Nitish Kumar wanted to say 400 plus seats, a target set up by the Prime Minister for alliance partners, but his tongue slipped and 4000 came out. For his speech, Nitish Kumar is now being trolled on social media platforms.

But soon after his address, Nitish Kumar realised his mistake and was seen embarrassedly smiling and touching PM Modi's feet on stage.
Reacting to the incident, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, he saw the video of Nitish Kumar touching Prime Minister Narendra Modi's feet and felt very bad. He added "Whatever has happened, Nitish Kumar ji is our guardian...There is no other Chief Minister as experienced as Nitish Kumar and he is touching the feet of Prime Minister Modi."
The video of Nitish Kumar's speech goof-up was shared by several RJD leaders, who mocked CM stating "The chief minister wanted to wish more than four lakh MPs to the PM. Then he probably thought it would be too much and 4,000 would be sufficient".
On the other hand, JD(U) leaders declined to comment on the incident.
