Khan Sir Will Not Surrender After Being Named In FIR, Lawyer Says Bail Plea To Be Filed In Patna Firing Case

Popular educator and coaching institute owner Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, will not surrender before the Patna Civil Court in connection with the recent vandalism case linked to his coaching institute. Instead, he plans to seek anticipatory bail through legal channels.

His lawyer, Arvind Kumar Mahuar, confirmed on Saturday that Khan Sir would exercise his legal rights and approach the court for protection from arrest rather than surrendering before the authorities.

The development comes as the case continues to attract attention across Bihar and among Khan Sir's large student following.

Anticipatory Bail Petition To Be Filed On Monday

According to Khan Sir's legal team, an anticipatory bail application will be filed before the court on Monday.

Speaking to reporters, advocate Arvind Kumar Mahuar explained that the deadline for filing the petition on Saturday had already passed, making it impossible to move the court immediately. As a result, the legal team decided to wait until Monday to seek relief.

The lawyer stressed that Khan Sir intends to fully cooperate with the investigation while also protecting his legal rights.

How The Controversy Began

The case is linked to violence that broke out at Khan Global Studies, Khan Sir's coaching institute in Patna, on the night of June 2.

According to reports, a group of individuals allegedly attacked the coaching centre, leading to chaos outside the premises. Videos that later circulated on social media showed people throwing stones and bricks, damaging property, tearing banners and posters, and allegedly assaulting a security guard.

The incident quickly gained attention online, prompting police to launch a detailed investigation into the events surrounding the attack.

Questions Raised Over Alleged Firing During The Incident

Initial reports claimed that firing had taken place during the violence. However, Patna Police later stated that several aspects of the incident were still under investigation and that all claims would be verified through evidence and witness statements.

As investigators examined video footage and testimonies, attention shifted toward the role of security personnel present at the coaching institute during the attack.

Rival Coaching Operator Arrested

During the investigation, police identified Roshan Anand, who runs a coaching institute called Gyan Bindu, as a key accused in the vandalism case.

Authorities subsequently arrested him and sent him to judicial custody. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the clash and whether additional individuals were involved in planning or carrying out the attack.

Police have indicated that the probe remains ongoing and that further action could follow based on evidence collected.

Khan Sir Named In FIR

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya Sharma confirmed that Khan Sir's name has been included in the FIR registered in connection with the case.

Police have already questioned the educator as part of the investigation. However, officials have not publicly revealed the exact allegations or legal sections under which his name has been added.

The inclusion of Khan Sir in the FIR has sparked widespread discussion among students and supporters, many of whom have expressed concern over the developments.

Security Guards Arrested After Viral Video

The investigation also led to the arrest of two security guards associated with Khan Global Studies.
Police action followed the circulation of a video that allegedly showed the guards firing shots into the air during the incident. Authorities said the arrests were made as part of efforts to determine whether firearms were used illegally during the clash.

The guards have since been sent to judicial custody while investigators continue examining the evidence.
