SSVM Institutions, Coimbatore, organised the 4th edition of the 3-day Transforming India Conclave ’25 on the theme “Humanity & AI Co-creating our world today” at the SSVM World School campus from September 1-3, 2025. The conclave brought together visionaries, change makers, educators and innovators under one roof to explore how humanity and AI can co-create a future rooted in empathy, ethics and progress.

He said that while AI is being used in drawing sketches, figures and paintings it cannot surpass human creativity.

The Director of Education, SSVM Institutions, Ms Srisha Mohandoss urged urged the students to embrace education as a path to curiosity, compassion and courage by making the right use of technology.

Tamil film director Mr Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has to his credit many box-office hits such as “Coolie” said AI could help in casting the artists and creating the frames. It cannot explain a story with emotion as a human does. The soul of cinema belongs to humans, he added. Mr Jibu Elias, an AI Ethicist and Researcher, said that AI has got regional and language bias and cultural gap. He called for AI that reflects India’s cultural values and traditions.

AI in Sports

Mr Prakash Padukone, Former Indian Badminton player said that AI could greatly help in training, coaching, video analysis, diet, nutrition aspects for sportspersons, but ultimately it is humans who have to deliver.

Dignitaries at the event included Mr Sanjay Jain, Head of Google for Education, India, Mr Ankur Warikoo, Content Writer and Founder – Webveda and Mr Suresh Narayanan, Ex-Chairman, Nestle India.

Studentpreneur Awards – 2025

The highlight of the event was the Studentpreneur Awards 2025, meant to inculcate entrepreneurship in young minds. Chinmaya International Residential School, Coimbatore bagged the 1st place with cash award of Rs. 75,000. Sri Ramana Academy, Rajapalayam, won the second place and BVM Global came third.

The awards were presented by Dr (Prof) S.Rajasabapathy, Chairman, Department of Plastic Surgery, Ganga Hospital, Dr. Manimekalai Mohan and Ms. Srisha Mohandoss. Dr (Prof) S.Rajasabapathy in his address said that robots could access the intricate cavities where hands cannot reach. Surgery is one of the last frontiers for AI to make a mark.

The Presentation of Inspirational Guru Awards for teachers from across the country was yet another highlight.
20 educators were recognized as national awardees of the Inspirational Guru Award 2025.

Mr Mohandoss, Trustee, and Mr Nitin Jey, Director, Educational Infrastructure, SSVM Institutions gave away the various awards. The talks were interspersed with Grandoise cultural programmes.
