Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan seek one more day to reply to AAP's show cause notice

New Delhi, April 20: After receiving a show cause notice from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for alleged anti-party activities, rebels AAP leaders have now sought additional time to reply to the notice.

The notice, served to Prashant Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav and other rebel leaders was issued on Friday and sought a reply within two days [AAP issues show-cause notices to rebels, seeks response in 2 days]

However Yadav and Bhushan said that due to prior committments on Sunday they could not reply to the show cause notice and said that they would do so on Monday, April 20.

The rebel AAP leaders were busy with a Delhi-level meeting with volunteers for Swaraj Samwad.

The rebels leaders have also raised an objection to the presence of Ashish Khaitan and Pankaj Gupta's presence in AAP's disciplinary committee.

Bhushan on Monday said: "It's remarkable and ironic that you (Pankaj Gupta) along with Ashish Khetan and Dinesh Vaghela aave sent this notice to us, styling yourself as the 'National Disciplinary Committee'.
