Today's Chanakya Exit Poll On Delhi Elections: When Will The Pollster's Predictions Be Out Online? Know Timing

At least seven exit polls released on Wednesday have predicted that the BJP will return to power in Delhi after 27 years while two exit polls have claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) could secure a hat-trick of victories.

However, there was some confusion about the predictions of Today's Chanakya as some confused the survey reports with Chanakya Strategies. Both the surveys are different.

According to Chanakya Strategies' exit poll, the BJP is poised for a landslide victory, securing 39-44 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly. Whereas the seats of the ruling AAP is predicted to to drop significantly to 25-28 seats, while the Congress party is expected to continue its poor performance, winning only 2-3 seats.

However, Today's Chanakya, a prominent pollster, distanced itself from these predictions, stating that the numbers being circulated in its name were inaccurate. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the pollster clarified, "#ExitPoll #DelhiElection2025: Delhi seat numbers being run in a name similar to ours, does not belong to us. Our Delhi analysis will be released tomorrow, 6 Feb 2025, at 7 pm."

What Exit Polls Say?

Meanwhile, the majority of exit polls have pointed at a strong resurgence for the BJP. It indicates that the AAP, which has ruled the city for two consecutive terms, is expected to end in second place, with approximately 30 seats.

On the other hand, the Congress party, which has struggled to regain its footing in Delhi politics, is likely to continue with its performance as the exit polls predict a near-total wipeout, with projections suggesting it may win only 0 to 1 seat.

Political analysts suggest that the BJP's aggressive campaign, focusing on national security and governance, may have resonated with voters, while the AAP's emphasis on education, healthcare, and infrastructure development appears to have fallen short this time. The Congress, once a dominant force in Delhi, continues to face an existential crisis in the capital.
