TaxiForSure operations in the city illegal: Delhi govt
New Delhi, July 9: After a woman passenger took to social media to tell her ordeal about her horrifying cab ride with TaxiForSure, the Delhi Government on Wednesday said that the operation of TaxiForSure was illegal in the city.
The government said that it was not against the app-based taxi service in the city but it would not compromise on womens' safety.

The
government
said
that
it
had
taken
notice
of
the
incident
and
that
action
would
be
taken.
In
a
statement,
the
government
said
that
TaxiForSure
had
not
been
authorized
by
the
Delhi
government
and
hence
its
operations
were
illegal
in
the
national
capital.
The Delhi government is committed towards the safety of women and no act which brings shame to the entire national capital will be allowed to go unpunished, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the woman has still not filed a complaint in the case, police officials said in Thursday.
