TaxiForSure operations in the city illegal: Delhi govt
New Delhi, July 9: After a woman passenger took to social media to tell her ordeal about her horrifying cab ride with TaxiForSure, the Delhi Government on Wednesday said that the operation of TaxiForSure was illegal in the city.
The government said that it was not against the app-based taxi service in the city but it would not compromise on womens' safety.

The government said that it had taken notice of the incident and that action would be taken.
In a statement, the government said that TaxiForSure had not been authorized by the Delhi government and hence its operations were illegal in the national capital.
The Delhi government is committed towards the safety of women and no act which brings shame to the entire national capital will be allowed to go unpunished, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the woman has still not filed a complaint in the case, police officials said in Thursday.
