Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar's death:Celebs mourn on Twitter

New Delhi, Jan 17: Union Minister Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar has been found dead in a suspicious circumstances in Leela Palace Hotel in Delhi on Friday, Jan 17.

The shocking news of Sunanda's death came just a day after her infamous spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tararon micro-blogging site Twitter. She accused Tarar of stalking her husband.

There was a PCR call at 7:30 pm after which her body was found in a room no 345 at Leela Kempinski on Africa Avenue, the police said. They said she had checked into the hotel on Thursday.

Sunanda's death left everyone dumbfounded. Many celebrities expressed shocked. Famous writer Shobha De said, To talk of her in the past tense is intensely painful and difficult. She personified life. She was a vibrant, beautiful and free spirit. She had the guts to live life on her own terms. She was a friend, I loved her deeply, and I hope and pray that the circumstances behind her tragic end will be thoroughly investigated."

Another well-know socialite Suhel Seth said, "She was one of my dearest friend. I am devastated at what has happened. It's something that shouldn't happen to anyone. I was informed in the evening today that Shashi won't be coming for the event scheduled for him tomorrow as he wanted to spend time with his wife."
