Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit is set to challenge Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency during the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections, sources informed *Times Now*.
Sandeep Dikshit, son of the late Sheila Dikshit, former Chief Minister of Delhi, is a prominent figure within the Indian National Congress (INC).

Throughout his political career, Dikshit has primarily been associated with the East Delhi constituency, which he represented in the 15th Lok Sabha.
Before venturing into active politics, Dikshit was deeply engaged in social development initiatives. He led the Sanket Information and Research Agency Pvt. Ltd., a social development organisation internationally recognised for producing the first sub-national Human Development Report in 1996.
Following the path of his mother, Sheila Dikshit, Sandeep entered politics as a member of the Indian National Congress, serving as an MP for East Delhi during the 15th Lok Sabha.
