Road Caves In Delhi's Dwarka, Car Falls Into Pit; AAP Leader Shares Viral Video
A car fell into a pit on Monday night after a portion of a service lane collapsed in Delhi's Dwarka, Sector 12. This incident led to chaos and massive traffic jam on the road. Fortunately, locals quickly gathered and managed to rescue two people trapped inside the car safely.
A video of the incident is doing round the internet showing poor quality of roads and infrastructure in the national capital.

Sharing the video and taking a jibe at BJP, Former AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav in a post on the micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) said, residents must endure their governance for five years.
"Immediately after taking oath today, BJP started working at a rapid pace. This is KM Chowk of Dwarka in Matiala assembly constituency, where from MP to MLA and Municipal Councilor, all are from BJP. People of Delhi should be alert and prepared, they have to endure for the entire five years," he posted.
Delhi CM Reviews Infrastructure
On February 22, Delhi's newly elected Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) and Delhi Jal Board (DJB). The meeting aimed to assess the condition of roads and water supply in the city. "An important meeting was held with the officials of Delhi Jal Board and PWD," she shared on X.
The discussions with DJB officials focused on water-related issues, while talks with PWD officials addressed broken roads and drainage problems. Gupta emphasised continuous efforts for improving infrastructure for Delhiites' convenience and development.
BJP Criticises Previous Administration
The BJP attributed the city's poor road conditions and water supply issues to the previous AAP government. They highlighted problems like broken roads, dirty water supply, sewer overflows, and clogged drains during their election campaign.
Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra visited Khajuri Chowk and remarked on the widespread road damage across Delhi. "The entire Cabinet is on the roads," he stated. Mishra added that Chief Minister Modi has mandated round-the-clock work from officers to resolve these issues.
Mishra further commented on changes in governance culture: "Arvind Kejriwal's culture of not working has ended." He stressed that officers must adapt to Modi's work ethic to address infrastructure challenges effectively.
