Senior NCP leader Tariq Anwar said the Congress can make a comeback if Rahul Gandhi continued with his hard work, an ANI report said. He said events like 'padyatra' and visit to Telangana will benefit the Congress.
Rahul Gandhi will meet family members of farmers who committed suicide in the state and also address their woes. At least 700 farmers have committed suicide in Telangana due to agrarian crisis. He is also set to undertake a 15-kilometre long 'padyatra' here.
The Congress vice-presidemt, who was in news recently for his mysterious absence for nearly two months, has assumed a more proactive role after his return. He went to Punjab and Maharashtra where he spoke for the farmers besides raising the issue in Parliament.
