Will Rahul Gandhi be the next Congress president?

New Delhi, Jan 13: In what may seem a final attempt to resuscitate the Congress ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls, party President Sonia Gandhi will convene a meeting here on Tuesday.

If reports are to be believed, party vice president Rahul Gandhi may be elevated to the post of President even though senior leaders of the party have denied this.

The party will meet to chalk out its political strategy for the future after losing in Haryana, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand.

Earlier also there has been a clamour to move Rahul to a higher post in the party. However there are conflicting views on this as some want Priyanka Gandhi to join the party and take the party forward.
