Prakash Karat falls off stage at Third Front meet
New Delhi, Oct 30: CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat and RSP leader Kshiti Goswami fell on the stage at the convention of the Third Front convention here on Wednesday. Goswami tried to hold Karat's hand while falling after hitting something on the stage and both fell down. The interesting part is that Goswami tried to catch hold of Karat's left hand with his left hand but couldn't succeed.

The Left convened a Third Front meeting at the Talkatora Stadium where 17 parties came together to form a anti-communal front. Top leaders like Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of the JD(U) and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh were present. Representatives of the NCP, an ally of the ruling UPA coalition at the Centre, were also present at the meet, raising speculations.
