Police yet to contact us, Tarun Tejpal's lawyer tells news channel
A three-member team of the crime branch of the Goa Police reached the capital on Saturday to probe Tejpal and Shoma Chaudhury, the managing editor of the magazine.
Fifty-year-old Tejpal has been accused of outraging the modesty of the young journalist in the elevator of a hotel in Goa during the THiNK 2013 event organised earlier this month.
The Goa Police said Tejpal's arrest is imminent and the letter of apology that he had emailed to the journalist served as a new evidence.
