Parvesh Verma’s Daughters, Trisha and Sanidhi, Thank Delhi Voters After Father’s Big Win

Parvesh Verma, the BJP candidate from the New Delhi Assembly seat, has secured a significant victory over AAP national convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Before contesting this seat, Verma served as a Member of Parliament for West Delhi, further cementing his influence in the capital's political landscape.

Following his win, Verma's daughters, Trisha and Sanidhi, expressed their gratitude to voters for their unwavering support. Actively involved in his campaign, they engaged with voters and participated in extensive outreach activities.

"We thank the people of New Delhi for their support. Delhi will never again make the mistake of giving a second chance to a leader who governs by deception," they remarked. Confident of their father's victory, they added, "We always knew there would be a clear-cut win; we were just waiting for the right moment. This time, the people of Delhi did not let lies triumph." They credited their father's dedication and the BJP's leadership for the electoral success.

Speaking after his victory, Verma reiterated his commitment to bringing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to Delhi. "This government, which will now be formed in Delhi, will align with PM Modi's leadership. I dedicate this victory to him and to the people of Delhi," he stated.

A prominent figure in Delhi politics, Verma is the son of the late Sahib Singh Verma, a former Chief Minister of Delhi. His political journey began in 2013 when he contested the Mehrauli Vidhan Sabha constituency and defeated then-MP Yoganand Shastri, the Speaker of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha. Throughout his career, Verma has served on key parliamentary committees, including the Finance Committee and the Estimates Committee. He was also part of the Joint Committee on Salaries and Allowances of MPs and the Standing Committee on Urban Development during his first term as an MP.
