NTA Releases Revised Dates For CUET UG 2023, NEET UG 2023 In Manipur

The National Testing Agency has proposed dates for the Common University Entrance Test (UG and PG) 2023 and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG test in the violence-hit Manipur.

The decision was taken after a careful review of the law-and-order situation in consultation with the State Administration and Government of Manipur.

Now, the NTA will conduct NEET-UG exam in pen and paper (offline) mode, and the proposed dates are between 3rd and 5th June 2023. CUET-UG will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode on 5th to 8th June 2023, while CUET-PG will be held from 5th to 17th June 2023, also in CBT mode.

"The option to change the City for the Examination is also available to those candidates in the State of Manipur who have not appeared in/ missed the NEET(UG) - 2023 and CUET (UG) - 2023 due to the law and order situation, irrespective whether they had downloaded their Admit Cards or not for these examinations," NTA said in a statement.

Candidates can choose from cities such as Aizawl (Mizoram), Kohima/Dimapur (Nagaland), Shillong (Meghalaya), Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar (Assam), Kolkata (West Bengal), Delhi, Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Imphal (Manipur).

To exercise the option of changing the exam city, candidates can use the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) facility between 26th May 2023 (07:00 am) and 30th May 2023 (07:00 pm).

Candidates will receive a message on their registered mobile number with instructions on how to avail of this facility. Alternatively, candidates can also contact the Office of the concerned City Coordinator or reach out to NTA directly.

"The Exam City option will be available to the candidates of Manipur through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) facility during the period from 26 May 2023 (07.00 am) to 30 May 2023 (07:00 pm)," it said.

"A message in this regard will be sent to each candidate on his/her mobile number registered with the online application form for the respective exam. The Candidates must use their registered Mobile Number to avail of this facility through IVRS," the statement added.
