Not sure about Rahul Gandhi, won't work with him: Sharad Pawar

New Delhi, Oct 25: Union Agriculture Minister and chief of the Nationalist

Party (NCP), an ally of the Congress in the UPA government ruling at the Centre, took a dig at Congress vice-president

, saying he lacked the experience to lead a government.

He said Gandhi should have joined the Manmohan Singh government to learn about the details of administrative affairs. Pawar said the final decision lies with Gandhi but he was not sure whether the Congress vice-president proved his mettle as an administrator.

Pawar also ruled out the possibility of him working under Rahul Gandhi, saying there is a generation gap.

The former Congressman admitted that the BJP could get more seats in the coming elections while the Congress could lose some but said it might not still be adequate for the BJP to set its own terms.

When asked about the possibility of a third front, Pawar said there have been instances in the past where the Congress was seen supporting regional parties. According to him, everything would ultimately depend on the numbers.
