TRS leader Keshav Rao, reacting to the report said that he had no objection to the idea of a joint capital however there was no question of sharing power with Andhra. "Hyderabad will be the capital and Andhar will be given the facility to operate from Hyderabad if required for ten years. But if they think of another place like Punjab or Chandigarh, where law and order will be in the hands of the Governor, that is not possible," he said.
Other members of the TRS stressed that administratively hyderabad had to be under complete control of Telangana and that they didnt want a situation like Delhi in Hyderabad.
